2011 - End of Year

.

A different system was used this year for end of year judging with three judges working independently, using the S.A. Photographic Federation's software which allows scores to be input directly to a computer.   Judges, David Smith, Des Berwick and Matt Makison are to be commended for their choices as well as the time they put into deciding which images should be given merits and which should become the winners.   Congratulations to President Giurelli for his results and to Greg Linke who gave him a real run for his money.   Congratulations too, to all of those who succeeded in the end of year competition, as well as to the many who had images which came close to merit standard.   Overall, the standard was extremely high and does the club credit.
